The '#mybodyismyflag' is typed on my OG typewriter and comes with a spare, use it on an image of yourself <3

This was shot in collaboration with Brian Spies, an artist from Williamsport, PA. Please check out their work. They selected the charity, AidsResource, a local organization to them that is an amazing resource to the queer community, and also runs a gender affirming boutique named after Brian where trans & nonbinary folks can get affirming clothes for free. Just know that they are a popstar, and it is a blessing to have worked with them.

tw:

This work really became the bridge between my art practice and my path down music. This motto has been such an inspiration for me to live by. It was a way for me to accept all the things my body has been through so far. I had so much dysphoria growing up and I relied on eating disorders and various forms of self-harm to get through a lot of it. Since my transition I felt so much more comfortable with myself and I have been able to reconcile with some of the damage that I did.

The garment that I'm wearing is a transparent medical gown. At the start of my medical transition it was difficult to start hormones due to the frustrating process that is our healthcare system. I thought it was funny to have to sit in the mens changing room at the hospital and be wearing a gown that is one-size-fits-all.

Feel free to wheatpaste this somewhere in your house or neighborhood <3
